Firm support makes feet happy

I’ve been using my clogs for about 2 weeks and I’m very happy with them. I’m usually a size 6.5, occasionally a 7 and I bought a 6.5. I spent a lot of time trying to decide on size because I live in Hawaii and there aren’t free returns. The 6.5 fits perfectly with socks, a 6 probably would have been better for bare feet. I have high arches, thin narrowish feet and plantar fasciitis.

They're amazing

I ordered these in the Stonesheep, and they're awesome. I have plantar fasciitis on one foot and achilles tendonitis on the other, and these clogs are so comfortable I can hardly believe it. One of the clogs had some flaws on it; I got in touch with Customer Service, and they sent me a replacement pair before I'd even gotten the flawed ones in the mail! That earns my loyalty. In fact, I just bought the Alpaca and don't know that I would have were it not for such amazing customer care. Re. size: I have a slightly wide foot and wear a 7.5. Fortunately size 7 was sold out so I got 7.5--it fit perfectly. So glad I didn't size down. These are natural wool which means the color(s) is unique and the wool breathes, so your feet won't sweat in them. These clogs aren't cheap (in price or quality), but if you can afford them, they're worth every penny and will last a long time if properly cared for. Highly recommend!

Comfortable AND stylish!

As someone with heel spurs and plantar fasciitis, finding comfortable footwear that does not scream "orthotic shoes" can be difficult, but the Louisa sandal hit a home run for me. Right out of the box they were comfortable with good arch support, and I received compliments the first time I wore them. The tan color is a terrific shade that will go with just about anything; these are going to be a staple in my summer wardrobe. I normally wear a size 9.5W shoe, and the size 10 works beautifully for me.

after recently experiencing a bout of plantar fasciitis for the first time , i was determined to level up my shoe selection to address the pain and take care of my feet . after coming across the Stegmann website , i was a little hesitant about ordering a more expensive shoe online .... it can be so confusing when customer reviews on size don’t quite match up with the sizing info the shoe company provides , so i wasn’t sure if i should take the websites suggestion and order a full size smaller than my usual shoe size for a snug , no sock fit OR the many reviewers suggestions saying they ordered their regular shoe size or only went up a half size . after checking the Stegman shoe return policy and seeing that it appeared pretty easy , i took the plunge and ordered the eco wool clog a full size smaller than my usual shoe size . when i received them ( oh my are they are pretty !!! ) , i was still unsure if i had picked the correct size . they were snug when barefoot , just how i prefer , but my heel felt as if it were juuuust at the lip of the shoe . given that these natural wool shoes do stretch , the next question was if they would stretch enough to settle my heel snuggly into the cupped heel of the shoe or would they only stretch in the toe area or top cover area 🤷🏼‍♀️ . i decided to send them back and order a half size larger and put them back in the box . a day later i got them out and tried them again and wore them around the house . i also read on the site somewhere to be sure the arch support is correctly under your arch and that your toes are aligned with the slight ridge in the sole of the cog that cradles your toes into the correct position within the shoe . i decided to keep them and i’m glad i did !!! i have been wearing them ALL the time for about a month now and i couldn’t be happier with the fit . the shoe did stretch out a little bit in the overall snug fit , but not to the point of fitting loosely , and that allowed my heel to feel more properly in place as well . they are warm but not too warm ( my feet naturally run hot but never sweat in these clogs ) and seem to have molded into the perfect for me fit . i appreciate the softer footbed , having previously wore birkenstock’s around the house , and i think they are just mighty cute and very well made . i’m pretty sure before the next fall/winter season that i’m going to “need” another pair in another color 🙂. i hope this review helps anyone struggling with making a sizing choice !!

Super comfortable and supportive

I've never owned a pair of Stegmann clogs before, but now I will never go without them. I wanted a good house shoe that would be as, if not more, supportive as my Birkenstocks, and these are perfect. They are warm, but not hot, and they were comfortable the minute I put them on. I have metatarsalgia and have had plantar fasciitis in the past, so I need a super comfortable and well made shoe. These exceeded my expectations. The are also true to size, which seems rare with shoes these days, so that was an added bonus.

Comfortable support

These clogs are so comfortable, keep my feet from sweating and regulate their temperature. I have plantar fibroma in both feet, so I wear supportive shoes in my house. These keep my feet much cooler than leather shoes. I should have tried them a long time ago!

Amazing!

I have been struggling to get rid of plantar fasciitis for 4 months - had even purchased other shoes that were supposed to help, but didn't. After 2 weeks of wearing my clogs around the house, I had significantly reduced pain - and now within 4 weeks, I'm pretty much pain free. I would recommend these clogs to anyone and everyone! So comfortable, so well made - and for me, they seemed to work miracles. I am beyond amazed and so thankful!

Love at first fit

I've been looking for high-quality, supportive wool slippers for several months. I came across the Stegmann brand, read lots of reviews and decided to give it a shot. I ordered my regular shoe size (8.5 women's) and was pleased with how the clog fit right out the box. It was like they were made for my feet. I generally wear socks in the winter and like their description says, if you want to go barefoot, order a half size smaller. When I forgo socks, the fit is quite a bit looser, but not uncomfortable. I am very pleased with how the clog supports my feet when I am cooking or using my standing desk. I am recovering from plantar fasciitis and the clog's stiff sole seems to help me continue the recovery. Thank you, Stegmann's for making an excellent product.

I want to wear them everywhere!

My podiatrist recommended getting Stegmann clogs for pain relief from plantar fasciitis. They work! My feet feel so much better. The women's size 10 was sold out so I got a men's 8, which fit perfectly. They shed a little bit of wool at first, but it's not too bad. Although I wear them nearly all day, my feet never get sweaty. I'll probably get a pair for my husband. 100% worth the investment.

Great Slipper!

They are so well made and fit true to size. I have a heel spur and plantar fasciitis and when I put these on the heel pain was relieved. I am loving them and have already recommended them to friends.

I have a high instep, plantar fasciitis and intermittent gout. These shoes are exactly what I needed; funky, fun and incredibly comfortable. I no longer need my custom orthotics. Walking is again a pleasure. I will be ordering more styles!

I have so many issues with my feet. Rheumatoid Arthritis, osteoarthritis, Plantar fasciitis, neuropathy, knee & back issues. I can't even walk barefoot anymore. If you have severe foot pain the search for the perfect shoe becomes a mission. Some days, like Thanksgiving when I'm on my feet all day by the end the pain is so bad they feel like they're bleeding & I just want to cry. I've been wearing a pair of Birkenstock's until they're falling apart. I did a lot of research on what to buy & decided on Stegmann but was nervous to buy something I never tried on. So this was my Christmas gift from my hubby. I ordered & anxiously awaiting my new shoes. I never check my email, which may seem a random thing to throw in but I have a point. So I get a phone call from Melissa at Stegmann. She tells me she had emailed me and hadn't gotten a response from me so she was calling to let me know the shoe I ordered was out of stock. I wear a 61/2. After reading reviews I ordered a 7. After speaking with Melissa, I decided to go with a 6 instead of another color or style. I could not believe she called me because she hadn't gotten a response. Most companies have no concept of customer service these days & wouldn't have taken the extra step to call me. This was now just a few days before Christmas so I thought I wouldn't get them until after but I received them on Christmas Eve. We open gifts Christmas morning so that's when I finally got to wear them & OMG!!!! Thanksgiving I was crying by the end, Christmas, again in the kitchen all day, I could not believe the difference!! I never write reviews, but I had to for these. Going with the 6 was the right choice. My feet said ahhhhh when I put them on. My feet & legs were tired by the end of Christmas Day but they didn't feel like they were bleeding, my legs weren't numb, I didn't feel like curling up in the corner & crying myself to death. I was amazed, especially the first day wearing them!! So it's Jan. 4th & my birthday is at the end of the week & I just ordered my second pair. I ordered a pair of the leather today because while I will wear both & will get more in the future, the wool attracts the dog hair like a magnet but is easily brushed off. I can't wait for my second pair to arrive. Pain relief, so cute & great customer service, can't get better than that! I'm a customer for life.

Favorite Gift

I bought these for my husband as a Christmas gift and they’re his absolute favorite! He has had plantar fasciitis so choosing good footwear can make a big difference. He wears them as a house slipper and can’t say enough how comfortable they are. His adult son was so inspired that he bought a pair too!

The arch support I need

I have plantar fasciitis and came across these shoes in my research of looking for something with the proper support — and still aesthetically pleasing!! I typically take a size 8 but actually went down to a 6.5. I have narrow feet and it’s also a preference for having my heel be closer to the edge of the shoe (vs having more space at the back). It was very easy to return the shoes and place a new order, and because the Black Friday promo had ended (I had to send back different sizes twice), they were kind enough to adjust the pricing so it was an even exchange. The quality is top notch for the price you pay, and my feet feel so much better. I’ve been wearing them barefoot and with socks just to stretch them out a little more. Very happy with my choice and you will be too!
