Where is the best place to sit at Sonoma Raceway for Nascar? ›

If you are looking for more action-packed seats, then Turn 7 is the way to go. If you want to see all the Pit Lane thrills and be right at the start line/finish line, you will want to sit in the Main Grandstand. Turn 2 offers great views of Sonoma Valley. Make sure you bring sunblock, as there is no shade.

For a majority of the NASCAR races at Sonoma, the 1.99-mile “chute” layout has been used, which offers better vantage points for fans. In 2019, NASCAR returned to the “full course” layout, utilized through 2021.
